I would love to share with you my favorite ways to celebrate delight in our everyday lives. Working in my JOy Stuff sketchbook has opened up a whole new way to make art, move my hands and soak in appreciation. It has been a wonderful addition to my world and gets me off to an artful, positive and grateful beginning to each day. The best part, other than that it is fun, is the way I feel connected to the things I love!

Hello, I hope you are enjoying a relaxing and creative summer. I wanted to share with you a wonderful article about BELLISSIMA ART ESCAPES in the latest issue of Where Women Create. Kathie Vezzani is a genius at putting together Beautiful and artful trips together, complete with fantastic food experiences, great people, lots of inspiring locations and a ton of time making art. John and I love working with Kathie and are excited about our upcoming workshop Making Faces in Oaxaca Mexico, February 2018.
John and I truly enjoyed teaching “The Face as Muse” workshop in lovely San Muigel recently. Every workshop has a special combination of learning, joy and laughter, and this one was filled with fun loving, talented folks who made the entire trip an artful adventure and a true pleasure.
Many thanks to Kathie Vezzani and Ana Elena of Bellissima Art Escapes for making our time together so full of art, culture, fun and delicious culinary delights. The colorful city of San Muigel brings out the artist and explorer in us all.

My husband John and I are thrilled to host the Big Bold Bloom Wild Painting Retreat in one of the most beautiful and nourishing settings in Florida. Atlantic Center for the Arts is located in a nature reserve, just a few miles from New Smyrna Beach. It’s here!! Big Bold Blooms 2!!Let’s paint, draw, play and have fun as we create mixed media paintings using beautiful, abundant flowers as our muse! I am excited to share with you new techniques, new layers, and new tools!
