Looking towards new projects and cracking open the next creative chapter!!!!

We just finished the last show of the season! It was an amazing summer with shows and trips all over our pretty country. The beloved fur people even went along for the ride when we went to Telluride Colorado, which was a total treat 🙂

Life is good, there are so many wonderful things to see and do and taste and enjoy and try, that I can’t wait for this new chapter to begin. And it begins TODAY!!!!

I am ready to focus on a whole new art making experience! I am seeking new ways of sharing creativity, which could not be more exciting! In my perfect world, my days will conist of more music making, painting outside, more designing and studio time with the dogs, more writing about and encouraging creativity, my favorite fun brain storming with my pals, laughing and sharing the love!!! And that’s just the short list!

Whats coming up for you?
I think we should encourage each other!!

  1. yes, so glad to see your creative enthusiasms here! I have spent the last 2 delicious days diving in to the creative pond and have to admit I am tired tonight. A good tired, but all the same tired. I’m trying to learn this ebb and flow and enjoy it to the max……..but after the rush, to rest. Don’t forget to rest a little too, fun girl!! I can’t wait to see what fun things come about from your creative cracklings!! Have fun dear Lynn! Your creation: Sweets for the sweet says hello to you and your lovely art studio……..she is happy to sit in my eating area and watch the hub of life go to and fro, me thinks!

  2. I am a self-taught artist who is a poor drawer so I took a few hours of a drawing course. I am trying to draw daily but I actually sweat when I sit down to draw. I can see tiny improvement by drawing everyday. This is something that I have wanted to do for years. I am getting excited at the new things possible if I just keep plugging away. That is the new vista that I am opening for myself.

    • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!
That is exactly the way to do it!! A little everyday will yield such amazing results. Sometimes the hardest part is just getting your pencil to the page, but push past that, and you are off!!! It’s one of the most satisfying gifts you can give to yourself!! Bravo! Just keep at it. Makes me happy to know you are in the game.
      Cheers!!!!

Ps if you like, check out Daily Drawing Community on Facebook. It’s an easy and happy place to share or just enjoy drawing. Xoxoox

    • Hahajaa! We didnt do the winter park show, and our pals who did got totally soaked. We did sunny and cool Maitland Art Festival last weekend, which was perfect weather 🙂 see you at the Open House. Xoxox

  4. Gorgeous photos, asks another challenging great post… I am changing up the way I do things in 2012 as well.
1] Less work and more play
2] Learn to say ‘no’ when needed, and ‘yes’ when led to (quit being a people pleaser)
3] Start taking care of Gretchen and be good to myself (vacation, exercise, eat right, water, supplements, natural health regimen, etc)
4] Creative out let found for teaching others what I do, and get over the fact people copy…share trade secrets for a fee through design classes, technique classes.
5] Transition to empty nester/crazy artisan come Fall
    And more….

    • Excellent list Gretchen!!!
You have re inspired me on a few topics, thank you.
Someone told me once, if you say no when you need to, that person will just move on to the next one………. All good!!!
