  1. Wasn’t Dr Evermore amazing? I lived in Baraboo for awhile and got to know him pretty good along with many other super quirky talented folks. His sculpture park is an amazing magical place. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

    • YES KIM, Dr. Evermore was STELLAR! such a gentle kind man and what a life! He is my kind of guy! funny and uber talented and talk about energy! wow, all the things he did in his life! fantastic! we were there for a while and it was one of the highlights of the trip. I would love to hear more about him and about your friendship.
Baraboo was very cool, we looked for some old circus folk, but didn’t find any, but the little town was great and the beauty of the surrounding area was so unbelievable. Excellent part of our trip for sure.
good coffee place and good cinnamon scones as I remember…..

  2. I gained 5 lbs just reading your list and looking at the photos.

Scotch eggs in Wisconsin??? I never thought I’d see the day. They are so, well, British!

I bet you wrote Teddywedgers on your studio wall………

    xxoo
    Colette

    • Hey Colette!!
You are very smart, so smart I had to wikapedia scotch eggs, because, well, I thought they might be…..Scottish!

But, no, you are so right, they are English!! Interesting little devils. They serve them on a stick at the Minnesota state fair. They have tiny ones at the grocery in england. How did I live without this information??

Anyhoo, it’s been a great trip so far, and speaking of 5 lbs, I was trying on clothes at the great vintage store here and hummmmm things were fitting a little differently. It’s all good! I still found some cool stuff for 5 bucks each! Wheeeeeee!!

Are you crazy busy this summer? Can’t wait to see you in November.

      Cheers!

  3. Seriously. If I had known your list of food items was
that high I would have made sure you ran 6 more times
while you were over. Did you get an more running in once
you got to Ann Arbor? I hope the workshops went well.

Thanks for visiting, Mark and I had a blast.
    xoxo Bb

    • We had a blast with you two! Used our cool scientific surplus bags all weekend.
And thanks for sending the camera AND for the additional BONUS photos!!! We had a
feeling you two smart and snarkies would do something clever and amusing!! You do not
      disappoint!!!
We loved your place and the garden and marks studio and all the great food. I did run in Ann Arbor,
but Lordy be, the food here was pretty amazing. Should have bought stock in Zingermans deli.
Workshops were really good and staying with Chris Roberts was the best part!!

Miss you and hope to see you soon!
Hope those storms didn’t effect you????
      We were worried.
